I was born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, where I lived for 18 years before moving to Phoenix, Arizona to attend Arizona State University. At ASU I majored in Computer Systems Engineering, while interning at Lockheed Martin for about three years. During this time I also developed a small social networking site called iSociate.
Then, in the summer of 2006, I interned at Microsoft working on Live Image Search, where I developed the Image Search Scratchpad. Following this experience, I decided to accept a full time offer with Microsoft and started again in February, 2007 working on the instant answers platform.
At work these days I've been spending my precious coding time revamping the Live News Search user interface and maintaining the xRank UX as well. We just finished a pretty massive overhaul of News, so check it out if you have a chance.
Currently I am living in Bellevue, WA, spending most of my time at work or in the gym. Outside of that, I've been spending my precious little free time developing this site lately (or on Facebook). I also enjoy playing guitar, watching movies, and working on my car, a 2007 Corvette.
That's me in a nutshell, but if you'd like to know more, please contact me.
Despite its simple appearance, this site is actually quite complex. When I get some time, I'll post some info on how it's built, how it integrates with the WordPress blog system, Flickr, etc.
